We all know small class sizes benefit students.  Imagine if your child was in a class of one!  Step It Up Tutoring provides an exciting and unique opportunity for your son or daughter to get what’s needed to feel good about learning and school.

Lauren offers tutoring in reading, writing, and math.  For children who struggle with reading, tutoring can accelerate their progress and help them achieve goals quicker.  Additionally, many students need more practice with certain math concepts than they get in a class with 24 or more students.  Tutoring is an opportunity to go deeper and get repeated exposure necessary for success.  Because of her experience with the specific strategies and curricula used in area school districts, Lauren can access what your child needs so that learning clicks and sticks.

And some students don’t enjoy school because they aren’t being challenged.  Tutoring is an excellent way to provide enrichment opportunities for your child.  Behavior challenges and resistance melt away when students get what they need.  One on one learning opportunities offer students targeted instruction to help plug in to the joy of learning.

Lauren also works with home school families who need support.  Sometimes kids reach a certain age when the parent has a harder time giving them what they need.  Or maybe a certain subject area just isn’t a parent’s strength.  Lauren offers individual and small group instruction for home school kids who want to go deeper with their learning.

Lauren Porter is a talented and energetic educator who is dedicated to helping kids love learning.  Call now at 425-761-6886 to arrange the first session and start your child on the road to success!
